INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
8351 ACADEMIC MISCONDUCT

No students or other member of the school community will engage in any form of academic misconduct.

Academic misconduct is defined as any action or attempted action that may result in creating an unfair academic advantage.

Examples of Academic Misconduct include but are not limited to:

  • Plagiarism
  • Cheating
  • Copying
  • Altering Records
  • Assisting another student in any of the above

Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

It is the responsibility of every member of the school community to behave in an ethical manner. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action being taken as determined by the code of conduct, and/or state and federal law.

The Superintendent of Schools will be responsible for the development of appropriate administrative regulations.
